Fully insured caravan & trailer transport from Canberra to Cairns — door-to-door or depot-to-depot, typically 10–20 business days over roughly 2,570 km. We transport caravans, camper trailers, horse floats, and box, car and equipment trailers, towed by experienced vehicle relocation experts or carried on suitable equipment.
A caravan or camper trailer is usually towed rather than carried, so its roadworthiness is the first question. Tyres, bearings, brakes and coupling all need to be sound for a long interstate tow — vans that have been parked for a season are the ones that cause trouble, because tyres perish and bearings dry out while standing still.
The inside matters as much as the outside. A van that is not packed for travel arrives with cupboard contents on the floor, and the damage that causes is rarely covered by anyone. A few minutes securing the interior is the best-value preparation you can do.

Typical transit on the Canberra to Cairns run is 10 to 20 business days from collection, covering roughly 2,570 km. Larger or oversize units can sit outside that window because they travel on routes that can legally carry them — you get a delivery window when the booking is confirmed.
There is no single from-price on this route, because caravans, camper trailers, horse floats, and box, car and equipment trailers are quoted individually on size, weight and whether the unit runs and drives — those change which trailer is needed far more than the distance does. The instant online quote returns a price in about a minute.

Yes. Tell us when you request the quote — a unit that cannot be driven onto a trailer needs winching equipment, and knowing in advance is what stops a wasted trip at the kerb. It is priced into the quote rather than added later.
