Caravan & Trailer Transport Broome

Caravan & Trailer Transport to and from Broome, WA — we transport caravans, camper trailers, horse floats, and box, car and equipment trailers, towed by experienced vehicle relocation experts or carried on suitable equipment. Door-to-door or depot-to-depot, fully insured in transit.

A caravan or camper trailer is usually towed rather than carried, so its roadworthiness is the first question. Tyres, bearings, brakes and coupling all need to be sound for a long interstate tow — vans that have been parked for a season are the ones that cause trouble, because tyres perish and bearings dry out while standing still.

The inside matters as much as the outside. A van that is not packed for travel arrives with cupboard contents on the floor, and the damage that causes is rarely covered by anyone. A few minutes securing the interior is the best-value preparation you can do.

Our Broome depot

Broome meeting point: Broome WA 6725 — exact address confirmed at booking, in the Kimberley's west, arranged by appointment.

Depot-to-depot keeps the price down because it keeps the truck on main routes; door-to-door collection and delivery across Broome is available where access allows.

• Fully insured in transit: Carrier's transit insurance covers your caravan or trailer from pickup to delivery.
• Towed or carried: Roadworthy units are towed by experienced drivers; others can be carried on suitable equipment — tell us the condition and dimensions when you quote.
• Live updates: Track your booking and get SMS and email updates along the way.

How caravan & trailer transport works

1. Roadworthy, or carried: Roadworthy vans are towed by experienced relocation drivers. Anything not fit to tow can be carried instead — tell us the condition and dimensions when you quote.
2. Pre-departure check: We check tyres, coupling and lights before the van leaves, and take a written condition report with photos inside and out.
3. Towed interstate: Towed at legal speeds by drivers who move vans for a living, with SMS and email updates as it travels.
4. Delivery and sign-off: Delivered to your address or our depot, and checked against the same condition report before you sign.

Preparing your caravan or trailer for transport

A few minutes of preparation prevents most of the problems we see. Run through this before collection:

• Empty fresh and grey water tanks — water is heavy and it moves.
• Latch or tape every cupboard, drawer and internal door, and empty overhead lockers.
• Wind in and secure the awning; retract and lock the roof on a pop-top.
• Turn off and disconnect gas bottles, and secure them in their holder.
• Check tyre pressures and tread including the spare, and have bearings serviced if the van has been standing.
• Remove valuables and anything not fixed down — transit insurance covers the van, not loose contents.
